We review the three training sessions carried out within the Emprèn program.

Barcelona, on July 20th 2017. The last training session within the Emprèn program was carried out by BANC this Tuesday. It was about alternative funding, private investment, and entrepreneurship.

More than 20 entrepreneurs from different sectors could enjoy the three training sessions in order to learn about alternative financing options available for entrepreneurs.

During the first session, a consultant of BANC explained how to find a private investor. Also, a member of the UAB Research Park explained the different financing grants available within the entrepreneurial ecosystem. Entrepreneurs could see a wide range of public funding programs, both European and national. For example, they learn about the SME Instrument and the Horizon 2020.

The second session objective was to improve and practice the Elevator Pitch. Two members of the 4YFN team (Mobile World Capital) explained different options to achieve Equity Free Funding for startups. They also gave advice on how to take advantage of the participation in a fair or in an entrepreneurial hall.

Finally, the last session was an investment forum where entrepreneurs could present their projects to a group of 8 investors and mentors. The objective of this session was that mentors could advise and give feedback to the different entrepreneurial projects, while encouraging networking between the members.

From the Business Angels Network in Catalonia, we want to thank every person who have made this training course possible and the Emprèn program to promote entrepreneurship.
