The main objective is to find alternative funding for startups which can bring value
Barcelona, on February 1st 2017. Two consultants of BANC, the Business Angels Network of Catalonia, attended the Open Future Cornellà to explain how the world of private investment is changing.
The attendees, 15 entrepreneurs from nine startups, could learn the keys and the benefits to find a Business Angel. Also, they could listen some tips in order to find different kinds of alternative funding like soft loans. BANC’s consultants explain the main characteristics of the Enisa and the SME Instrument.
After that, entrepreneurs presented their projects in three-minute rounds.
Finally, each startup was advised personally for our consultants. Now they are studying the possible entry of some projects into the network.
BANC success ratio is attractive, but the main goal is to keep improving it continuously.
BANC was the first Catalan and Spanish private Business Angels Network. The organization was founded by the CECOT employers union and Autoocupació foundation, with the collaboration of ICF (Institut Català de Finances). BANC belongs to the XIP (Xarxa d’Inversors Privats d’Acció), it is a member of the Spanish Association of Business Angels Networks (AEBAN) and the European Business Angels Network (EBAN). BANC is the main promoter in Spain for the Global Business Angels Network (GBAN).
